BATTAGLIA

The little village of Battaglia is situated at some 420 metres above sea level on the wooded slopes of Mount Cocuzzo, a few kilometres from Casaletto Spartano.
With its blazoned houses, votive chapels and narrow, medieval streets, Battaglia still retains an old world atmosphere. Its main building is the imposing palace erected by the Barons Gallotta in the 16th century.
